Postdoctoral Fellowships At Duke Unversity
The Healthy Childhood Brain Development/ Developmental Traumatology Research Program at Duke University Medical Center seeks applications for a two-year position. Applicants with strong academic interests in understanding the links between childhood trauma and neurobiological development are encouraged to apply. Applicants should be broadly trained in an applied area of psychology. Skills/interests in neuropsychology and developmental psychopathology are required. The candidate should be licensed or license-eligible in North Carolina. Opportunities are available to train in all aspects of clinical research including pediatric neuropsychological assessment, differential diagnosis and evaluation of maltreated children and adolescents, and cognitive behavioral treatment of PTSD. Mentorship is available for publications, presentations, application to NIH Loan Repayment Program, and for application for independent funding. Child oriented research program at Duke University Medical Center seeks licensed Clinical Social Worker. Position requires a MSW degree. Social Worker will recruit, screen, and interview study participants. S/he will conduct psychiatric and family history interviews, review and code these interviews for data entry, and write reports with treatment recommendations. A good candidate will have excellent communication skills and experience working with maltreated children and adolescents. Off-campus location has great office space and free parking.
