What we do:
We
are available to do consults on hospitalized patients and follow
outpatients experiencing persistent and debilitating chronic pain and
offer an individualized comprehensive treatment plan.
We
offer a variety of treatment modalities including medication management,
pain management group, individual and family therapy, biofeedback, and
acupuncture.
Common
types of patients referred:
Complicated
treatment resistant pain syndromes: back pain, neck and shoulder pain,
arthritis, fibromyalgia, headaches, facial pain, and reflex sympathetic
dystrophy.
Narcotic dependence and abuse, poly-substance issues,
narcotic maintenance for chronic pain, and depression / anxiety associated
with pain.
