Accessing Conte Center Data: Information for Investigators

The Conte Center will provide important clinical and neuroimaging data for investigators
interested in examining a variety of aspects of geriatric depression. These data will build upon
previous data accumulated through the Mental Health Clinical Research Center and
accompanying Longitudinal Study of Depression in the Elderly.

We have developed a system for investigators who wish to access data generated from the Conte
Center and other geriatric depression studies for purposes of analysis and publication of
scientific results. Individuals interested in accessing data will need to complete the Conte Center
Manuscript Proposal Form
.

Prior to submitting the Conte Center Manuscript Proposal Form, investigators are encouraged to
discuss proposals with key Conte Center personnel who are familiar with the data. Investigators
interested in clinical studies should contact Dr. David Steffens (email: steff001@mc.duke.edu).
Investigators interested in neuroimaging data should contact Ms. Martha Payne (email:
martha.payne@duke.edu) or Dr. James MacFall (email: james.macfall@duke.edu).
