The main
aim under this project is to evaluate the circuits that are activated under a
variety of cognitive tasks and mood induction tasks. These studies will be
extremely important in elucidating the role of medial orbital frontal cortex
and the circuits elucidated above in the development of depression. Dr.
McCarthy is the Director of the Brain Imaging and Analysis Center. The patients
for this study will come from project 1.
