Poster Presentations

Poster presentations are accepted based on their relevancy to the conference theme.  Poster abstracts may be submitted along with conference registration, or submitted directly to Anne Marie Jacobs at annemarie.jacobs@duke.edu, or by fax at (919) 668-5088.  Please submit posters by October 31, 2008.

Early Registration (before October 15, 2008) - $155
Late Registration (after October 15, 2008) - $190
Graduate/Postdoctoral Students - $80
Duke affiliates – Please call for rate information

Registration is available online: www.dukesmoking.com & click on the conference link.  We accept Visa, MasterCard or check.  Sorry, we cannot accept American Express.

Fee includes conference attendance, continental breakfast, lunch and morning/afternoon refreshments, parking, and published conference materials.

Cancellations/Refunds: Partial refund of registration fee will be available upon written request. A $30 fee will be retained for administrative costs.

Conferences are funded through registration fees, and donations from pharmaceutical and tobacco companies.

The Washington Duke Inn, located just minutes from the Bryan Center, is offering a special conference rate of $179/night. This rate is offered on a limited basis, so please reserve your room quickly. When making your reservation, please mention that you are with the Duke CNSCR.

Registration Information

Conference Registration Fees:

  • Early-Registration - $135 
    (by September 29)

  • Late Registration - $170
    (after September 29)

  • Graduate Students - $60

  • Duke affiliates - call for rate information

Fee also includes continental breakfast, lunch and morning/afternoon refreshments, and
parking. 

Please submit a separate conference registration form for each attendee.  This form may be
duplicated for additional registrations.

The Sheraton Chapel Hill Hotel is located approximately 4 miles from the Friday Center. The conference rate is $119.00 (single or double). In order to confirm the conference rate, reservations must be made by Wednesday, September 29, 2004. After that date, rooms and rates are subject to availability.
